Red Roots CD! Available NOW!

Yay! The big day is here.  Our first CD release with Red Hen Records is NOW available for order through our website if you click this link: theRedRoots.com/store. So what is the CD like?  It has 10 songs on it each having their own sound but possessing what we call the Red Roots style.  Well, what's the Red Roots style?  Easy!  It's a blend of modern country with a grassy twist.   The songs highlight our 3 part harmony and the instruments we play like the guitar, banjo, and violin.  Also, the songs each have a special message of their own.  Some focus on subjects ranging from the need of God in our lives while others focus on the fulfillment of Him in our lives. The CD features our current radio single "Red Roots," which is sung and performed in our music video, which you can view if you click this link: theRedRoots.com/videos. Nika, Nicole, and I are definitely EXCITED about singing and playing these songs live in concert. We feel that this new line-up will allow us to have fun, praise God, and express His message.  Thanks to those who support us and for keeping in touch! -Natalie

Pre-Order NEW Red Roots CD NOW!

Hmmmm…… January 24th  2011 is a very important date of the year for Red Roots.   A big, big, big, day, and even a EXCITING first for us.  Ok… I’ll stop building the suspense.  Well, it is big for us anyways.  Ok really.  I’ll stop for real.  Drum roll Please!!!.......!!! On January 24th, 2011, the Full Red Roots CD is going to be released.  It is our first CD release with Red Hen Records (DayWind’s Christian Country Label). People always ask us, “Are you Southern Gospel, Bluegrass, or Country?" Me, Nika, and Nicole would describe the songs’ styles as more of a Red Roots style.  If it could be compared to anything, I would say, Taylor Swift, the Dixie Chicks, or SheDaisy.  We feel like it’s a blend of modern country with a little grassy twist.  Also, the songs each have a special message of their own.  Some focus on subjects ranging from the need of God in our lives while others focus on the fulfillment of Him in our lives.  Nika, Nicole, and I are definitely EXCITED about singing and playing these songs live in concert.  The CD features our current radio single "Red Roots." You can Pre-Order the CD Now at theRedRoots.com/store. -Natalie

Red Roots - Official EPK

Red Roots - Official EPK
If you've never heard of an EPK then I'll let you know that first of all it's not exactly a word but an acronym standing for Electronic Press Kit.  It's a tool for our group to show who we are and what we're about.  Hopefully, once you watch, you'll learn something new about us that you never knew before. You may even to be able to tell our personalities apart.  Even though we are triplets, me and Nicole are POLAR opposites, and Nika is usually in the middle somewhere.  We have our moments, but we truly do have fun together. The EPK features both the "Red Roots" song and music video, but it also gives you a glimpse of another single titled "Lord I'm Listening" off of our NEW CD.  I explain in the video that the song describes how soft and sweet God's voice is, but the closer you get to God, the louder His voice is. Through the video, you may also see that God can use anyone (if He can use us, then He can surely use YOU!) to glorify His name.  Living for Christ is the only way that one can be truly content. Thank you guys for your support and encouragement. -Natalie

Radio Tour 2

I don't know if any of you have ever done a radio tour before, but if you have you know the feeling of the stare of endless road, car sickness through the mountains (not fun by the way if there is a hole in the bag that Nika was emptying her once full stomach in), icy roads, fast food (yes, a person can eventually have enough of it), home sickness, sitting for WAY too long, and waking up WAY too early.  But also, if you have, you would also know that there are endless new places that you've never seen, car fun (how can we not have fun picking on each other), icy snow (we got to make our first snowman), fast food that includes krispy kreme (which you can never have too much of), new friends and faces that remind you of home, sitting in the car just talking with your family, and waking up to a dj with a smile on his face.  Yeah, I know I scared you at first, but like I said, we have had our moments.  The best part so far to us has been being welcomed by so many djs, who were once strangers but are now our friends.  Many took their time out to support our group and give their own time to people they did not know very well.  We also appreciate anyone who requested our first radio single "Red Roots", and anyone who has encouraged with comments, emails, and calls.  We look forward to the next week.
